The Sales Stack

The Sales Stack was born out of my own Sales geekness.

I have been in Sales most of my professional life.

From Region Manager, to Key Account Manager, to Director of Sales, up to VP Sales and Managing Director at a San Francisco-based startup on a journey from $10M to $100M ARR.

Over the last decade, the SalesTech space has exploded.

“Software is eating the world” as Marc Andreesen famously said, and it’s eating the Sales world now.

I’m a geek at heart, I love to build scalable processes and I am a productivity hack aficionado.

I love tinkering with computers, and bridging the gap between technology and business. Identifying how software can empower a business.

As VP Sales, in a high-growth startup, constantly tweaking and improving our processes to maximise outcome was key. And sales technologies were one key to help achieve that.

I spent an inordinate amount of time then, especially in my “free” time, to scout and discover new Sales software. Missing a central repository, that would help make sense of the landscape.

So the idea of a software discovery platform made for people in Sales stuck in my mind.

And The Sales Stack started, as a pet project.
